Dr. Ryan Martz
Growing up in a military family, Dr. Ryan Martz has lived all over the world. He was born in San Diego but considers Hawaii to be his home. Excited to live and practice in Las Vegas, affectionately known as Hawaii’s “ninth island,” Dr. Martz feels honored to provide dental care for the local community.
As a young teenager, Dr. Martz fell on his face and chipped his tooth. This damaged his self-confidence and eventually, he was able to get his tooth fixed by a dentist. Once he saw and understood a dentist’s ability to restore confidence, he found his calling to become a dentist and improve the lives of others. Dr. Martz focuses on helping people improve their self-image through their smile.
Dr. Martz would like his patients to know that he understands dental anxiety and makes every effort to explain expectations clearly so that patients can get a clear picture of treatment. Dr. Martz is trained to safely administer several options for anesthesia and makes sure that every patient is comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
Dr. Martz graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University–Hawaii in political science. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Martz is a member of the following professional organizations:
- American Academy of Facial Esthetics
- American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
- American Dental Association
- Crown Council
Outside The Office
When he’s not at work, Dr. Martz loves to surf and hike. His favorite local spot is Red Rock National Park, where he likes to take his Great Dane and four children to enjoy the day. He continuously strives to better his dental abilities by studying new techniques and technology in dentistry. He also loves to cook, especially BBQ, which is perfect for his weekly date nights with his wife and the cooking classes that they take together frequently.
Never Stop Learning
Dr. Martz loves learning new techniques and procedures. He has completed the Hornbrook Functional Aesthetics course and is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a member of the ADA and Crown Council, which is for those dentists who are dedicated to the highest level of practice success. Dr. Martz knows that his team is his most valuable asset. He is committed to constantly training and nurturing his staff to create a culture that patients will fall in love with.
"Dr. Soumi has been my dentist for 10 years now and what keeps me coming back is his professional, objective and well thought responses to questions regarding my dental care, and of course his pleasant and helpful staff. I have never felt as though I was being told I needed extra work done that I didn’t need, like other dentists have made me feel at times. I fully trust Dr. Soumi and the work of his staff. Wonderful, honest and gentle dentistry."

"Need a great dental office from front desk, to cleaning and teeth damage control?....that pesky cavity or a crown? This is where you want to visit. I’ve been a customer (better word than patient) since 2017 at a referral from my realtor. I’m very secure and confident of safety and cleanliness from before this pandemic to opening after businesses were closed. It’s difficult to find a good dentist, especially the supportive staff but you’ve found it here. Take care, stay safe and healthy."
"Dr. Soumi is very honest and knowledgeable. Great staff, following the exam which was very comprehensive, I had my cleaning done. The hygienist was attentive, knowledgeable and detailed. They did a fantastic job at no point I felt being rushed."
